A Passion For Cooking
My name is Denis Juan, and my love for cooking has been a lifelong journey. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I am the third of seven siblings, a proud descendant of my Dominican mother, Carmen Guerrero, and my English father, José Denis, son of Elizabeth Denis. My passion for cooking started at a young age, inspired by my grandmother as she went about her daily chores. Cooking became my way of having fun while also contributing to the household. Seeing the joy my dishes brought to my siblings, I knew I wanted to turn my passion into a lifelong career.
Culinary Journey and Growth
At the age of 18, I began my formal culinary education at Capella Beach Resort in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic, where I immersed myself in international cuisine. By the age of 22, I had worked my way up to Second Head Chef. Determined to refine my skills further, I pursued an Executive Chef degree at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and successfully completed my studies. My career then took me to the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Spain, where I expanded my knowledge of diverse cuisines. Upon moving to the United States, I worked as a Kitchen Chef at Brigham Young University (BYU), gaining valuable experience catering to a diverse community.


The Birth of a Dream
While working in Utah, I became captivated by the excitement surrounding food trucks. The idea of serving fresh, high-quality food directly to customers and engaging with them face-to-face was the most rewarding experience of my career. With a small trailer, I launched my first food truck, offering customers the unique experience of watching their pasta being cooked right before their eyes. The overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the community fueled my passion to expand.
Growing the Business
Through dedication and hard work, our business has flourished. Today, we proudly operate six food trucks, each offering a unique culinary experience—from mouthwatering burgers and tacos to fresh pasta, gourmet sandwiches, Asian-inspired dishes, and refreshing lemonades. Every meal we serve is a testament to our passion for food and gratitude for the community that has embraced us. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
